In November 2014 Dunedin won the title of New Zealand’s first Gigatown. With this came the need to develop a distinctive brand promoting Dunedin as a fully fledged Gig enabled city.
Working with a short-lead time, Walsh & Beck developed a full marketing and communications plan which was rolled out in a ten day period. The resulting campaign generated a 160% return on investment and cemented Dunedin as New Zealand’s original GigCity.
